Alfie AI Assistant

Yes, Alfie was built and is maintained by Pebl based on our deep understanding of global employment. It’s purpose-built to be used as an HR tool to simplify and accelerate global hiring for our customers. 

Alfie AI assistant uses multiple LLMs to accomplish different tasks and provide users with relevant answers. This includes Claude by Anthropic, ChatGPT by OpenAI, Gemini by Google and Cortex by Snowflake to answer questions and provide insights. 

Pebl uses a combination of pre-trained models and proprietary models. Our proprietary models are trained on vetted global hiring documentation. Alfie may leverage your Pebl account data to provide contextual answers specific to your team and account. Pebl does not use your data to train our models nor do we allow any third parties to train on your data. Your account data and any inputs you provide to Alfie are owned by you. Any data shared is governed by the Data Processing Addendum in place.  

Every interaction with Alfie respects existing role-level based permissions. That means that an employee can only ask about their own data. A company admin can only query data for their authorized scope. Alfie inherits platform permissions, it does not bypass them. Alfie allows account admins to generate reports about their Pebl-enabled workforce. This includes reports about their employee’s compensation. No one else within the account is able to generate reports with Alfie, including (PTO/HR managers and company billing contacts). External users do not have access to customer data.

Alfie inputs and outputs are stored within our AWS database based in the US. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Data is stored in encrypted form using 256-bit AES encryption. Encryption keys are managed by AWS Key Management Services.

Pebl is dedicated to information security and the protection of confidential data. Customer and supported employee data is protected with industry leading 256-bit AES encryption, ensuring all information is secure from unauthorized access. This includes all inputs into Alfie AI Assistant, as well as any account data processed by Alfie. We take data privacy seriously and comply with applicable laws, contractual agreements, and internal policies that protect personally identifiable information. Users are responsible for the content they provide to Alfie. Any Personal Data submitted to Alfie may be processed only as needed to generate a response and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Alfie usage is optional.

Alfie outputs based on your account or employee data are owned by you. Pebl’s obligations regarding such data is outlined in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Any outputs regarding, but not limited to, global employment laws, regulations, and best practices are owned by Pebl. We do not share your data with third parties except when required to generate a response or take an action that you request. Any data shared is governed by the Data Processing Addendum in place.

Pebl has a structured program in place to continuously improve AI accuracy. However, AI can make mistakes. Users must ensure appropriate human oversight when using AI generated content. Outputs from Pebl AI are not legal, tax, or other professional advice.
