Pebl’s leadership brings a diverse blend of experience and expertise in global work, united by one goal: enabling businesses to thrive.
Francoise Brougher serves as Chief Executive Officer of Pebl and is responsible for leading the company’s vision, strategy, and execution. Francoise has over 25 years of leadership experience in strategy, business, and operations at industry-leading technology disruptors, including Google, Square, and Pinterest, where she led multithousand-person global organizations responsible for multibillion-dollar sales and operations revenue. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer at Pinterest, where she grew revenue from $500 million to $1.1 billion, expanded operations to 20 countries, and helped take the company public in two years. Francoise is a sought-after board member and was appointed to Pebl’s board of directors in 2022. She lives with her family in Silicon Valley, happily graduating from swim mom, ski mom, and soccer mom to dog mom in the last couple of years.
Ben Wright is Chief Revenue Officer at Pebl, where he leads the company’s global growth strategy and go-to-market operations as it redefines how businesses hire and manage talent worldwide. As the founder of Pebl, Ben scaled the company from a startup in 2014 to a leading Employment of Record, earning recognition as the fastest-growing company in Colorado history and reaching #4 on the Inc. 5000 list.
Currently Executive Chairman of Pebl, Ben has more than 20 years of experience leading high-performing teams and driving innovation in global workforce management. A passionate entrepreneur, adventurer, and sportsman, Ben once ran seven marathons on seven continents in seven days to support First Descents, a nonprofit that empowers young adults facing serious illness through outdoor experiences. He is also a Limited Partner of the Colorado Rockies baseball club.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Ben brings a global mindset, relentless energy, and a people-first approach to everything he does both in business and beyond.
James Loftus is Chief Financial Officer at Pebl, where he drives financial strategy to position the company as the leading EOR platform, empowering businesses to hire and manage global talent seamlessly. With over 20 years of experience leading high-performing teams in fintech, M&A, and venture capital, James was previously Managing Partner at PayPal Ventures, where he led the $1B+ early-stage fintech investment fund and helped launch the firm’s AI investment strategy. Before PayPal, he founded and led the corporate venture capital program at Cash App and held senior corporate development roles at Block, Yahoo!, A16Z, and Google. Throughout his career, James has served as a strategic advisor to founders, helping dozens of high-growth startups across fintech, AI, and global commerce.
A Boston College and NYU Law alumnus, James balances his career with chasing his three children, skiing in winter, and wake surfing in summer.
Carol serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at Pebl. As the company expands its global footprint, Carol will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for hiring, developing and retaining our global workforce.
Carol is an experienced people leader, board member and advisor with more than three decades of experience across all aspects of HR. She has created, scaled and led diverse teams at companies across different stages of growth from early seed rounds through IPO and as post-public companies. Most recently, Carol was the Chief People Officer at Binance.US, a technology and brand licensee of Binance.com, where she built the people team, grew in over 15 countries, and oversaw an eight-fold increase in headcount growth to a workforce of over 800.
Now an empty-nester, Carol lives with her husband in the Bay Area. In her free time, she enjoys remodeling old houses, investing, gardening, and running.
As Pebl’s Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), Chien is instrumental in shaping and executing the company’s technological vision as we provide modern solutions for companies to hire, manage, and pay any talent anywhere. Chien brings over two decades of experience in the technology industry, having worked with hypergrowth startups and public companies such as Dave, Salesforce, FirstRain, and Lending Club. He has significantly scaled engineering organizations and driven improvements in efficiency, speed, and quality of front and back-end experiences and most recently served as CTO at investment app Stash.
A native of Taiwan, Chien now calls the Bay Area home. Outside of work, the world is his playground and you can find him scaling mountains, diving among icebergs, or building schools with a non-profit organization.
Dutta Satadip, Chief Business Operations Officer, is a seasoned leader with a proven track record of driving transformative growth and operational excellence across hypergrowth startups, scaleups, and global enterprises. With senior leadership roles at PagerDuty, Google, Pinterest, and ActiveCampaign, he spearheaded a 2.5x revenue increase in just 2.5 years at ActiveCampaign by leveraging strategic insights and minimizing risk. Dutta excels at aligning organizations around high-impact strategies to boost customer engagement, revenue, and profitability.
A sought-after thought leader, Dutta speaks at global conferences and contributes to outlets like Harvard Business Review. He advises innovative ventures as a mentor at Berkeley SkyDeck and Chameleon and has served on advisory boards for the American Conservatory Theatre and the National Hemophilia Foundation. Passionate about exploration, Dutta has traveled to over 70 countries, continually seeking new destinations and perspectives.
Shawn oversees all aspects of Pebl's legal affairs. Before joining the company, he worked at a large national law firm representing high-growth companies. He loves the entrepreneurial spirit and continues to serve on the board of several of his former clients.
Twice a year, Shawn and his global team gather in person from all over the world for a multi-day planning meeting—these experiences continue to strengthen Shawn’s belief in the incredible value of diverse voices and perspectives for solving problems. When working remotely, he’s drawn to little cafés with the “perfect level of ambient distraction.”
Doug leads Pebl’s marketing and growth strategy, overseeing brand, demand generation, product marketing, and go-to-market execution. Prior to joining Pebl, he held senior marketing leadership roles at high-growth B2B SaaS companies. He brings a deep focus on data-driven decision-making, customer-centric storytelling, and building teams that execute with clarity and purpose.
When he’s not working, Doug enjoys spending time with his family, getting outdoors, and finding the right balance between focus and curiosity—often powered by good coffee and a well-timed walk.
