Meet Clara
Hi! I’m Clara, an Employee Success Partner on the People Team, currently transitioning into a Knowledge Management and Enablement Specialist role within our Operations organization. I’m based in San Francisco and have been at Pebl for nine months. It’s been a great experience so far.
Why I chose Pebl
Before joining Pebl, I worked with Ben Russo, our Director of Employee Success. I knew that if I had the opportunity to work on his team again, I would absolutely take it. When he joined Pebl, the timing aligned perfectly, and I didn’t hesitate.
I also joined at a unique moment, right as we transitioned from Velocity Global to Pebl. Being part of that transformation made my first months here especially exciting. It’s been inspiring to witness the company evolve firsthand.
Growing careers from the inside out
During my time on the People Team, I’ve focused heavily on Learning and Development initiatives, from designing our mentorship program to building clear career paths and competency frameworks across the company. Supporting employees in their growth has been incredibly fulfilling for me.
As I transition into my new role, I’m excited to deepen my skills in instructional content, facilitation, and enablement. I’m truly grateful to Pebl for giving me the opportunity to grow my career in a new direction while staying connected to the work I love most.
Proudest moment
Rolling out Career Pathing has been one of my proudest accomplishments at Pebl. This work involved:
- Developing standardized job descriptions
- Building competency frameworks
- Partnering across the business to introduce career paths
- Supporting employees through their development conversations
- Helping launch Pebl Career Navigator, our custom GPT designed to help employees explore growth opportunities and build Individual Development Plans
Seeing employees feel more empowered in their careers, and knowing they have the clarity and tools they need, has made all the hard work incredibly rewarding.
Support and culture
I’m so grateful for the Employee Success team and the support I’ve received from both my manager and my teammates. Pebl truly has a supportive culture where people show up for each other, collaborate openly, and genuinely want to see one another succeed.
That environment has made it easy for me to learn, stretch, and take on new challenges with confidence, especially as I move into this next chapter of my career.
Making mentorship real
One moment at Pebl that really stands out is the feedback we received from our mentorship program. Hearing mentors and mentees describe how meaningful their relationships have been made me realize just how impactful the program truly is.
Getting to be the “matchmaker” behind the scenes, pairing people thoughtfully and helping create cross-company connections, has been such a joy. Seeing those relationships flourish reaffirmed why I love this work.
